विश्व पर्यटन दिवस पर विशेष

 २७ सितम्बर दिन रविवार को जब दुनिया में "विश्व पर्यटन दिवस" मनाया गया तो कानपुर स्थित बिठूर अपने अस्तित्व को कोसते हुए पर्यटन के मानचित्र पर स्थान पाने को तरसता  रहा | उत्तर प्र्देश के कानपुर महानगर के अंतर्गत आने वाला यह छेत्र अपना  पौराणिक इतिहास लिए हुए है| 

                                 पौराणिक काल में महर्षि बाल्मीकि ने हिन्दुओ के सर्वोच्च ग्रन्थ रामायण की रचना यहीं  बिठूर में स्थित अपने आश्रम में की, जो आज महर्षि बाल्मीकि आश्रम के नाम से जाना जाता है,तथा बिठूर के प्रसिद्ध दर्शनीय स्थलों में शामिल है |रामायण के अनुसार जब भगवान राम ने माता सीता का परित्याग कर दिया तो माता सीता ने यही बिठूर में महर्षि बाल्मीकि जी के आश्रम में स्थान ग्रहण किया तथा दोनों पुत्रो लव व कुश को भी यहीं जन्म दिया | यह सभी यहाँ के धार्मिक एवं दर्शनीय स्थल हैं | 

                                विष्णु भगवान ने भी जब ब्रम्हा जी को सृष्टि रचना का आदेश दिया तो ब्रम्हा जी ने बिठूर को ही अपना स्थान बनाया जिसका प्रमाण आज भी माँ गंगा के किनारे बनी ब्रम्ह कुटी हैं| इतना ही नहीं राजा उत्तानपाद के पुत्र धृव ने भी भगवान विष्णु की उपासना यही बिठूर में की थी,जिसका प्रमाण माँ गंगा के किनारे बना ध्रुव टीला आज भी भक्त ध्रुव के नाम से जाना जाता हैं , इसके आलावा भी बिठूर का इतहास हिंदुस्तान  की आज़ादी की लड़ाई से भी जुड़ा हुआ हैं अंग्रेजो के विरूद्ध क्रन्तिकारी आंदोलन की शुरुआत यही बिठूर से हुई थी | सुधांशु महाराज का आश्रम भी यही बना है | महानगर के तमाम धनाढ्य वर्ग के लोगो ने भी यहाँ के शांत वातावरण का आनंद लेने हेतु अपने निजी फार्म हॉउस बनवा रखे है | 

                             किन्तु अत्यंत ही खेद का विषय है की इतने महत्वपूर्ण,पौराणिक,सांस्कृतिक ,शांत एवं आध्यात्मिक स्थल को अब तक पर्यटन स्थल की मान्यता नहीं प्राप्त हो सकी हैं | वैसे तो बड़े बड़े नेता, मंत्री ,अधिकारीगण तक ने बड़ी बड़ी बातें कहीं लेकिन बिठूर (ब्रह्मावर्त) की स्थित ज्यो की त्यों हैं | परत्येक वर्ष यहाँ बिठूर महोत्सव का भी आयोजन बड़ी धूम धाम से किया जाता हैं जिसमें बड़े बड़े गायक,संगीतकार,कलाकार, अभिनेता,सांसद,विधायक व अन्य महत्वपूर्ण लोग उपस्थित रहते हैं | जनता जनार्दन भी बड़ी संख्या में शामिल होती  हैं | किन्तु  यहाँ पर रूकने,सामान्य यातायात ,संपर्क साधन,होटल व अच्छे रेस्टोरेंट व धर्मशालाए तक नहीं है तथा कानपुर महानगर से जुड़े होने के बावजूद २४ घंटे बस व टैक्सी सुविधा तक का अभाव   हैं | कल ही विश्व पर्यटन दिवस पर उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य मंत्री योगी आदित्य नाथ ने अपने सम्बोधन में बिठूर का ज़िक्र तक नहीं किया |                                     आशा है कि  भविष्य में गंगा माँ की गोद में बसे इस पौराणिक एवं आध्यात्मिक स्थल को पर्यटन का दर्ज़ा अवश्य मिलेगा |

When "World Tourism Day" was celebrated in the world on Sunday, September 27, Bithoor in Kanpur was cursing its existence and yearning to get a place on the tourism map. This area, which comes under the Kanpur metropolis of Uttar Pradesh, has a mythological history.

                                 In the mythological period, Maharishi Balmiki composed the Ramayana, the supreme text of the Hindus, in his ashram located here in Bithoor, which is today known as the Maharishi Balmiki Ashram, and is included in the famous sightseeing places of Bithur. When Lord Ram abandoned Mata Sita, she took the same place in Maharishi Balmiki's ashram in Bithoor and gave birth to both sons Love and Kush here. All these are religious and scenic spots here.

                                When Lord Vishnu also ordered Brahma Ji to create the universe, then Brahma Ji made Bithoor his place, the proof of which is the Brahma Kuti built on the banks of the Ganges. Not only this, Dhruva, `son of King Uttanapada, also worshiped Lord Vishnu in this same Bithoor, whose proof of Dhruva Tila built on the banks of Mother Ganga is still known as Devotee Dhruva, besides this, Bithoor's history made independence of India. It is also connected to the fight, the revolutionary movement against the British started from Bithur. The ashram of Sudhanshu Maharaj has also become the same. People from all the wealthy section of the metropolis have also built their own private farm houses to enjoy the serene atmosphere here.

                             But it is a matter of great regret that so much important, mythological, cultural, quiet and spiritual place has not yet been recognized as a tourist destination. By the way, even the biggest leaders, ministers and officials have talked about big things, but the status of Bithoor (Brahmavarta) is intact. Every year, Bithoor Mahotsav is also organized here with great pomp, in which big singers, musicians, artists, actors, MPs, MLAs and other important people are present. Janta Janardan is also involved in large numbers. But there is no stop, normal traffic, connectivity, hotel and good restaurants and Dharamshala and despite being connected to Kanpur metropolis, there is lack of 24 hours bus and taxi facility. 

                          Yesterday on World Tourism Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath did not even mention Bithoor in his address. It is hoped that this mythological and spiritual place situated in the lap of Mother Ganga in future will definitely get the status of tourism.
